a bit about the artist
Hello! My name is Morgan, the artist behind Companion Crafts. I have always had a deep passion for art, which started at a very young age. Throughout my school years, my love for art remained constant, overshadowing any other interests I pursued. I attended multiple different classes in and out of formal schooling which exposed me to a variety of creative mediums. Painting was where I excelled, however I never attempted to paint in a realistic or photo representational way.

That all changed in April of 2021 while in lockdown. I began experimenting and created my very first realistic animal portraits. The first, a half body portrait of a green iguana that still sits unfinished in my studio, and the second, a detailed eye of a clouded leopard. Realism was my forte, and I was hooked on painting wildlife. In early 2022, I was hired by a major retail pet supplies company as a contracted artist, and I quickly discovered my love for painting pets. However, I felt that something was missing - a personal connection with the recipients of my art. This realization prompted me to make a change, and to my surprise, I already had a growing number of excited clients who wanted to see more of my work and who supported me on my journey.

After years of honing my artistic skills, I never imagined that I would have my own small business dedicated to my craft and that my art would reach people all over the world. I have sent art all across the US to many different states, and even some outside the country. This has truly been a dream come true, and I am grateful to all my wonderful customers, both old and new, and their wonderful, loveable pets for making this dream a reality!
